My Favorite Skincare Brands: A Look at What I Wear Daily.

Skincare. As you get older you get more in tune with that you need on your face & exactly why it’s needed. As i’ve gotten older and life has gotten to me I had to study quickly. I’m 37 years and I’ve got sunspots (non-cancerous) I still get pimples and my combination skin gets beat up a lot by the sun and general living in NYC.
It’s not easy. Over the years podcasts like Gloss Angeles have helped me figure out a lot of brands to try and of those brands the products I should be using again and again. This blog post is not everything I use but it’s just a bit of the products I use (not all at once) that help my skin stay youthful without all the needles and such that some try around my age. More power to you if you do but I just don’t see myself doing anything like that anytime soon.

I have been a Glossier girl for some time now and while the people within may not be perfect, a lot of the products I’ve used over the years have worked well for my face type.

I was so happy when I first heard about Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Skincare. Have you seen that woman’s skin? it’s always so dewy and perfect and while I don’t have the kinda money that would get me fully there a few of the products that she helped create do work wonders for the kind of combination skin I have.
Here’s what I use the most:
I use many of the lip treatments as well although I love the non-tinted versions more. I see the brand going into makeup lately too with blushes and such but check out the skincare. I always feel quite refreshed after using anything from Rhode. I wear a lot of makeup at times so my face gets a nice break after using the cleanser & glazing milk. everything else gives me a dewy feeling that I love.
Products are reasonably priced as well making it very easy to want to shop again.
