Happy National Polka Dot Day!

For those who don’t know this is a day in which we celebrate Minnie Mouse and her signature style of polka dots! If you’ve been following me on Instagram you know I’ve been sharing my favorite polka dot styles ALL WEEK LONG, but I wanted to share some of them on the blog as well.

All throughout the post, you’ll see some oldies and some newer outfits. All with their own flare. Whether it’s business casual or a full-on Minnie Style you’ll see it all here.

My most favorite thing about polka dots is how dynamic you can make them. They come in all sorts of sizes and colors and can make even the simplest of outfits come to life with just a blouse or a skirt. I like to match my dots by color usually but have been known to have a spark of color in order to make outfits pop some more.

Below is the newest polka dot outfit that I love!. The top by Eloquii is a boat neck style and that mustard yellow was the perfect touch that compliments it very well. I ADORE this outfit. Check below for outfit deets!

While growing up I’d always loved Minnie Mouse. One of my first trips to Walt Disney World featured a long wait in line just for her autograph. Her love of Polka Dots became mine and when I’d head home from summer vacation, my outfits would come alive with the help of polka dots. I wanted to be just like her. I’m so happy over the years I’ve been able to express myself with her help. So on this day I’m so happy and honored to celebrate her and her love of fashion.
