maybe ally...sees "Water for Elephants”.

Get to the circus I say! What a beautiful show. What wonderful performances. What amazing set designs. I could go on and on but I'll stick to one thing:

See this show and be impressed by all the acrobatics, a faithful retelling of a beloved story, and the cutest elephant you'll see on stage.

🐘 | Based on the novel that was then put to film and now a Broadway stage “Water For Elephants” entered a very stacked 2023-2024 season and made it a point to stand out and did so with ease. Mr. Jankowski has a story to tell about his life in a traveling circus. Will you give it a listen? It's a life-well-lived drama and all. I say you should hear him out a bit!

I knew so much and so little about the show at the same time but everyone kept telling me the same thing. It is the circus that comes to life. They weren't kidding. I found myself applauding each time someone in the company did anything remotely daring and anxiety-inducing. Just beautiful.

There is definitely memorable music within its musical numbers. I absolutely loved hearing “The Road Don’t Make You Young” & “Wild” the most & Grant Gustin shines in his Broadway debut as Jacob Jankowski. Isabelle McCalla is a vision of Marlena & everyone who made Rosie come alive on stage. Kudos. That cannot be easy! The show doesn't feed you everything you need to know either and allows you to figure things out on your own accord. I love it when that happens.

I left feeling really full of life and hope. Sometimes you need a happy ending. Sometimes you need the love story to end with the two people who've been through so much having a happily ever after. Sometimes you need to go to the theatre and be in awe of what you see. This ones got all of that and more.

So I ask again. Do you wanna hear Mr. Jankowsi’s story? 🐘✨
