Travel: Las Vegas (2.0)
Las Vegas! After two years she returns! This time for more relaxing than ever before. Funny because you don’t normally go here for that! & yet I did! I had a wonderful time until Delta almost ruined that (more on that later!)
I did enough for four people in one night! The Mob Museum was such fun & a wonderful history lesson. The Underground speakeasy was just as cool too! After a tiny break dinner was served! Mon Ami Gabi is one of my favorite places to eat in Vegas. We got such a nice view of the Bellagio fountains that we decided to go to the conservatory. I got a bit tired after that and called the night a bit early.
On the second day I had easily one of the strangest but most filling days I've had in a while. Started early at the Rio where we finally had Hash House A Go Go. Loved that hearty breakfast. After that, we headed over to Area 15. What a strange beautiful space that is. Area 15 is one of the strangest but fun experiences I've had in a while. This immersive space houses several different areas to play and explore all kinds of madness. Its theme is rooted in aliens but the space is used so wonderfully that it feels like it tells more. Omega Mart (within Area 15) is a real supermarket where you could buy real foods and beverages that also houses a little something else if you look in the right places. It was so fun to explore it. I crawled into tents, climbed up a rock wall and spoke to a robot.
Its strange. Its loopy. Its fun.
Ended the day with a trip to Buffet at Caesars Palace then walked around The Linq & the Flamingo. I was so tired but my heart was so full at this point. By day three I was mostly alone and I spend of this weekend poolside.
I love me a poolside day and I did just that most of the weekend. I love when I’m just melting away and taking in the environment around me. I needed it. My mind likes to clutter itself with this and this was a nice change of pace. Fontaine Bleau has a wonderful pool (seven in fact!) and I enjoyed a few of them while there.
Finally got to Mother Wolf, a restaurant so popular people drive from L.A. cause they can’t get reservations there. I luckily grabbed one months ago so we dined in luxury for the night.

I relaxed, I ate great, I lived life this day. A Wonderful Day.
The sleep was awful but I made the most of my solo weekend. I explored the hotel a lot and I have to say it's a beautiful place and I’d definitely come here again. It screams luxury and elegance. Two of my favorite things.
I also went to Circus Circus and got a look at all the fun rides. I get the appeal with families and theme park lovers alike. A bit heavy on the smoking but I survived. It really felt like I was at a theme park. Very cool. As time goes on I understand more why I only come every other year. Lovely town but I love my quiet more so as I get older…
My last pool day at @fontainebleaulasvegas was so relaxing! I loved this pool so much. I got in quite a lot of sun — even with sunscreen. Baby is a bit burnt! It's ok! I take it as a sign I did what I set out to do. RELAX.
I ended up with a bonus day in Vegas… Let me Explain:
Delta decided to cancel my flight hours before takeoff that left me scrambling! Oh, joy. Having to spend an extra day in Vegas may not be the worst thing for most and truly for me I'm blessed I was even able to get into a room and not sleep at the airport like many others. So I have an unexpected extra day in Vegas. I Prayed my rebooked flight didn’t get canceled and yet it did three times!!! At this point of the trip I was just operating life on vibes. I was very nervous about being able to get home. Delta is usually pretty good about tech outages in the past but for some reason this one just kicked them in the ass. Thousands of people including myself ended up paying for.
So an extra day in Vegas was had. If you’ve been to my IG you’ll see exactly what I ended up doing.
Honestly, I didn't want this day. I had to wait for Delta to get their crap together so I can get home. This bonus day did give me some highlights. Saw the Vegas sign proper for the first time, had Babystacks for the first time & even got to see the Luxor for a bit. This day wasn't organized at all. I didn't love it. I’m exhausted.
Still, I found the good in it.
By the time you read this blog post the saga to get home will be over.
I’m showered. I’m feed. I’ve slept. In my own bed thank heavens. I took a social media break for two days just to recover from Delta, the stress of getting home, the stress of people & more!
It’s was such a wild day. I was up for 22+ hours. Not flying for a long while and especially not with Delta. I don’t think I could handle that madness again so soon.
Until next time Vegas. If I keep up with every other year i’ll see you again in 2026. Loving you always. Make sure you check out the gallery! It’s updated with even more photos from the trip! Take a look above for a sneak peek!
