“This is so fun!”

I kept repeating to myself as I sat in the Dress Circle at the Hudson Theatre to see this lively show. I missed my shot at NYCC Encores! and when I found out it would be transferring to Broadway I grabbed a ticket as soon as I could. Happy I did too because it was packed in there when I went! That’s definitely because of this stellar cast and their perfect comedic timing. I didn't get to see the revival with Sarah Jessica Parker back in the day but it's always been one of my favorite cast albums to listen to. The story is pretty simple. It's a hilarious retelling of “The Princess & the Pea”.

➳♥︎ | The cast led by the one & only Sutton Foster is exceptional. Sutton plays Princess Winnifred a role made famous by the one & only Carol Burnett. She’s perfection. Her comedic timing lands her among the greats. I laughed so much. We all did. Michael Urie is a great Prince Dauntless & omg Ana Gasteyer!!! Queen Aggravain was made for her. Literally, everyone works together & is creating magic on that stage. Love. Love!!

The show runs through November 30th so you've got some time to get to the Hudson and laugh your night (or day!) away. I love a show that helps me escape life a bit with laughter. Kudos to the whole company for a good time.
