How to Wear Polka Dots.
If you’re like me you love a good polka dot style. It’s one of my most favorite patterns because it’s so versatile & full of life. I thought today would be a great day to give everyone a few tips I learned along the way on how to wear them.
Ok, let’s get into it!
Wear them with WHITE. Totally giving the color queen herself @colormecourtney the credit on this tip! And it just so happens that I showcased it with her dress from @renttherunway!
GET GRAPHIC! - Wear your dots with a fun graphic t-shirt for a more casual look. Wear smaller dots if you want the shirt to really shine!
Wear a SOLID…to start - It won’t overwhelm the eye & it eases you into wearing a full-on Polka Dot look (You totally can because there are no rules!).
SHOW MINNIE LOVE: Show off that @minniestyle by adding some Minnie ears to the mix. I’m sure @minniemouse would love the homage.
