HOLLYWOOD BOWL: BLACK PANTHER
Hey Guys & Dolls!,
Newer followers may not know this but I’m a huge lover of music. If you’ve been to my stories lately you’ll hear a wide array of music I love. So, when the opportunity arose to see the LA Philharmonic (@laphil FOLLOW THEM!) at the one & only @Hollywoodbowl I could NOT pass that up! When I was told what movie we’d be seeing, well that’s when my mind was made up completely! TWO WORDS…BLACK PANTHER.
🎵 For those who’s seen the film and heard its score you know just how inspiring it is to listen to & now, for the first time anywhere we’re able to relive the excitement of seeing Wakanda for the first time, or T’Challa becoming King all while the LA Philharmonic performed Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar®-winning score live to picture the weekend of Sept. 10th-12th.
MY EXPERIENCE:
We got there about 20 mins before showtime (doors opened at 6:00 pm) and were in awe! It was our first time there but man oh man is that place HUGE! We couldn’t get over it. We were happy it was outdoors as well although we follwoed every mask rule while there and only had masks off when snacking or eating.
It was a wonderful time and a really unique eay to see a film. Never had we (my husband and I) experienced film in this manner. We can’t wait to do it again.
Thank you to the Hollywood Bowl & the
L.A. Philharmonic for having us out!
