HARRY POTTER: THE EXHIBITION

Where do I even begin!? A few months ago we heard this exhibition was opening and thought it would be perfect to do for Armand’s birthday. We went in pretty blind too which made it all the better. We love The Franklin Institute and have been several times before for various other exhibitions. This one was so magical I need two posts to show you!

✨You’ll start by creating a profile (your name, your house, etc…) and get a wristband so you can play interactive games and win your house points! But along with it, you’ll find amazing props, costumes & more from all things Wizarding World! Harry Potter fans will love going through the grand staircase and visiting the common rooms of each house. You can take a Herbology class & even visit Hagrid! Those who love the Fantastic Beasts films also get a little love as you get to see many of Newt’s creatures. There are photo ops as well making this exhibition very IG friendly.

My only qualm was that there were too many people there at our 5:30 pm time slot. Like a lot. I kept my mask on except for any photos I wanted but yea with that many people lines were bound to happen for interactive things and it just wasn’t the greatest. Get a later time or super early if you can.

I think what I loved most about this exhibition was being able to really place myself within the films. Everything was so well crafted there are moments where I forget where I am. It was beautiful to see kids and even the young people enjoy it.

So many people dressed up and made it a day it was so fun to see so many Hogwarts students head off into whatever world they chose to be in for the night. It really was a fun experience that fans should see at least once.

In all, it was a fantastic time and We both had a lot of fun. If you’re a fan I say make the trip. Is it worth it? Worthiness is subjective, what’s worth it to me may not be for you.

Don’t forget to follow @franklininstitute for more details about the exhibition!
