When it comes to a jacket you wanna spend the money. I consider them to be legacy pieces that you’ll keep (sometimes) for a lifetime and deserve the chance at life so to speak. So with that in mind I love Everlane for jackets, J.Crew has fantastic jackets & coats (for colder weather). L.L. Bean is great for all weather coats (think rain & snow).

If the prices scare you at some of those places try elevated fast fashion like Zara or H&M (the more adult clothing trust me). If you absolutely have to places like Forever 21 have good styles but be warned they won’t be as insulated and so you’ll wanna layer.

In terms of sizing that’ll depend on where youre buying but also if you need to layer. The more you layer the bigger you wanna go in size. Be careful with the oversized trend. Even with layering coats can drown on people. If youre short like me you’ll wanna go petite there.
