maybe ally…Tries Dresses Into Tops?

Hey Guys & Dolls!

Happy Saturday! Since we are all at home I figure now is as good a time to write about style tips that have saved me over the years. One of my favorites is turning a piece that doesn’t fit you into something that is completely re-wearable.

This Hyena Dress from Cakeworthy is a PRIME example of this. Cakeworthy was having a sale not too long ago way before all the things we are dealing with today and I bought this dress for just $9!!!

Then I got it in and womp womp! It doesn’t fit. What to do? What to Do? Turn it into something else!

I simply tucked it into my favorite tutu by Eloquii and viola! the cutest outfit. I also wore my favorite heels to give me more length.

Lastly, I added some very cute accessories. Including a pearl headband and a pearl hair clip, I used it as a belt clip to add to my tutu.

Skirts or Jeans?

Well for me skirts would be easiest. Here’s Why! I find that tucking a dress to look like a top Is better when a skirt because you have room to convert it. With jeans, it stops right when your legs start to split and if that dress isn’t short enough you’ll find yourself with a dress that’s crunching up in the wrong spot. So you’ll want a skirt more often because you have the room to wear it as a dress but make it look like a top.

Try it out and tell me what you think!

What other style tips do you want me to talk about? let me know in the comments!!
