I loved the movie Death Becomes Her, and I was initially unsure how its unique story would translate effectively as a musical. However, I’m thrilled to say it’s nothing short of fantastic. The production showcases the truly amazing performances by the incredibly talented Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, Michelle Williams, and Christopher Sieber, all of whom bring their respective characters to vibrant life, along with stunning, eye-catching costumes that create a dazzling world on stage. The time flew by—I had so much fun throughout the entire performance.

The film to life with a fresh twist that resonates well with today’s diverse audiences. The sharp satire on women’s obsession with youth and beauty is both meaningful and hilariously entertaining at the same time. The humor is delightfully edgy, particularly coming from the dynamic performances of Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard. The “Frenemies to Friends” storyline is timeless and engaging, capturing the complexities of modern relationships. I noticed a colorful mix of younger and older people in the audience, which was a pleasant surprise that added to the experience. It speaks to the cult following of the film and how it stands the test of time.

This diversity creates an inclusive atmosphere that is perfect for such a lively hilarious show. It clearly shows that, despite the unpredictability of life, the theater offers comfort and connection with this show doing it with humor at its finest.
