maybe ally…Tries a Stay-Cation.

I had a friend ask me a few days ago why I was staying at a hotel. I gave them the cliff notes of it all. I needed time away. I needed time to reset. While I had some projects to work on the main goal stayed the same. I needed time. I needed space. I needed to be alone. In silence. It's much more healing than one thinks.

I was so happy that the @civilianhotel gave me that space & time. What a beautiful space it is and what a beautiful spacious room too. That open shower alone was enough to fall in love. This place is designed so well & with comfort in mind. The lighting was so wonderful. The bed was perfect. The aesthetic fit me. My view was divine. I saw all the way out to Jersey.

Most times in hotels you never really get to absorb the space you're in. Mostly because there's so much to do out there. The difference was I wanted to stay in and then of course ALL THAT RAIN made it easy. I sunk into this space and had a lot of real moments with myself. Just the kind of reset I needed.

April will forever be a time of reflection for me. So to start it off with some time away was perfect. I'm ready to take on the busiest month of my life. There will be ups & downs but I feel ready to take them on.
