Life Update:

There are so many things I could tell you about my mom. She was a true warrior. I ever tell you all about how she walked to the hospital in labor with me? She was a true Aries. Fire and passion, unlike anyone I ever knew. She loved hard. She cared hard. She was the glue in every group. I have no doubt she’s making the best of friends with the higher beings and asking them about the entertainment in heaven.

My mother passed away knowing she was loved so much by so many. I promise you she knew it. The outpouring of love I’ve seen over these past week and a half is nothing short of incredible.

What can I say? Nashville filled my soul.

I’d debated this trip the entire summer. I’m glad I was able to figure it out. Nashville gave me food for the soul (my belly too!). The people, the food, the live music — it all fed my soul in ways I can't explain. I've had a rough year and while I traveled it was travel not for myself per se. I always had something to do. I came here with no real plan. I had to put the organizer down and just try to go with the flow. It led my feet all over Nashville. What an experience. I'll never forget it.
